about
In the early punks days, there were a lot of rich kids getting back at their parents by being 'punk rock', and we knew who they were. 'Filthy Rich - wrote a song about it, like to hear it, here it goes' A lot of them grew out of it years later, but the true punks (for better or worse) pretty much lived their lives the same as they did when they discovered punk rock.We can all interpret what that might mean in our own way, but its safe to say that everything we did in life was based around punk rock mentaility.
Kick ass album. Not sure how I found it initially. Maybe via YouTube algo or something. Glad to finally own it, been listening on YT for years. Love the bonus track. orokro
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
